Classified Diver Training

Classified Diving is a training program that addresses the specific needs of disabled individuals and prepares them to dive with mainstream scuba divers. We do this by including as many standard skills as possible and by jointly training with a Classified Buddy who can fill in the gaps for the disabled diver. These divers are a team that can dive in most locations with Open Water Divers. For more information, refer to the links at the top right of this page-

Woodbridge SCUBA is a Dive Pirates Foundation Chapter

Dive Pirates is a group of volunteers who believe in supporting our community with our passion for scuba diving through the Dive Pirates Foundation, a 501(c)3 not-for-profit public charity. Woodbridge Scuba & Dive Pirates support, train, equip, and provide dive travel to individuals with disabilities and their caregivers through our Classified Scuba training program.
