| 2008 Open Water Course Schedule |
Cost: $450.00
- Covers the classroom sessions, pool training, open water dives, and diver certification card.
- Also includes use in all pool and open water dives of the following: tanks, regulator with gauges, Buoyancy Control
Device (BCD), wet suit, hood, weight belt, weights, cold water gloves, and admission tickets for the open water dives
The Student will be responsible for providing the following:
- Student kit, which includes the text book, open water video/DVD, dive tables and registration forms.
- Log book, personal dive gear - mask, snorkel, fins and cold water boots.
The shop requires the use of a pocket style weight belts or vinyl covered weights during all pool sessions.
The Open Water schedule will have 3 classroom, 2 pool sessions and 1 weekend for the Open Water Dives. Classroom
will be from 7:00pm to 9:00pm for the weekday classes. Weekend classes will be Friday evening from 7-9pm and all day
Saturday and Sunday on the dates indicated. Saturday pool will be from 6-8pm and Sunday pool sessions will be in the
morning. Pool sessions will be held at the Dale City Rec Center or Chinn Aquatics & Fitness Center. If a class or pool
session is missed by the student there will be a charge of $25.00 to make up the session.
Private or special group lessons may be arranged. Cost may differ from the regular published prices and schedule.
